The cost of obtaining a state identification card will increase to $40 in Maui County with a $5 fee per year when new regulations go into effect on May 1, 2014. The new fee doubles the cost of obtaining a state identification card on Maui.
Two teams each from Maui High School and King Kekaulike are competing in the 2014 Ford/AAA Student Auto Skills Competition, scheduled for Saturday, April 26, at Honolulu Community College.
The 28-hour course takes place on four Saturdays next month. All Classes run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will be held at the Molokaʻi High School cafeteria on May 3, 10, 17, and 31.
The County of Maui has established a memorial fund for the victims and families of a fatal Lāna‘i plane crash in February, that claimed the lives of three individuals and left three others injured, county officials announced today.
